Industry Standards

What is NADCA?

NADCA is the only association recognized by the EPA for establishing proper air duct cleaning standards. When you hire a NADCA-certified company, you're hiring the best.

NADCA Logo

The National Air Duct Cleaners Association

NADCA (The HVAC Inspection, Maintenance and Restoration Association) was formed in 1989 as a non-profit association of companies engaged in the cleaning of HVAC systems.

Their mission: promote source removal as the only acceptable method of cleaning and establish industry standards that protect consumers.

Today, NADCA standards and certification are specified regularly by building owners, facility managers, and healthcare systems to ensure HVAC systems are assessed, cleaned, and restored safely and effectively.

Why NADCA Matters

  • Only association recognized by EPA and FDA for air duct cleaning standards
  • Requires ongoing education and certification maintenance
  • Establishes strict ethical and professional standards
  • Provides consumer protection through accountability
  • Members must follow ACR (Assessment, Cleaning & Restoration) standard
